reading the pool name from within the pool monitor

HI, I need to create a health monitor that reads the name of the pool it monitors and makes some substitutions to the HOST in the monitor. Is there a way to input run-time parameters into the monito...

If you do not have large number of pool member I would look at creating a monitor per pool member hard setting the hostname within each monitor. Easier to manage in the long run and the monitors will be quicker and less resource intensive.

 

If this is not an option then think you would need to use an External monitor but the pool member/node names are not passed by default to the monitor scripts so would need some funky magic to get this working.
