Any way to load TMM directly for offline SSL testing?

This one's definitely a long shot.

We can gauge true SSL capacity on Linux with "openssl speed" (eg 'openssl speed ecdsap256'). Of course, when we do this on BigIP, we exercise the CPU and not TMM.

There wouldn't be some hidden way to challenge TMM directly that way, would there?

  • Hi Bernie, that is quite complex as we use crypto offload and no openssl with default cyphers. I would suggest that you contact your F5 representative to see some sizing info we have for SSL, with test methodology and so on ... We are heavily investing on load testing internally for you not having to reinvent the wheel.
