LTM Peers disconnected after Blade replacement

We have two F5s working in active/standby mode. We are using VCMP with host - guests and partitions.

We had to replace a blade.

After inserting the new blade, redefining guests, VLANs , .. We had two devices in standby, active. I restarted the peer list (one of them having running applications) and stated the following problem.

On the device where I started the peer list:

    f5brumz1-acc-ypto.msnet.railb.be    f5brumz1-acc-ypto.msnet.railb.be    chs411855s  0:23:e9:c0:e0:e

On the other device (no info found of the other peer):

f5brumz2-acc-ypto.msnet.railb.be            

Already tried to delete all, recreate, reboot (only the new one), since the other one is active and running.

What can we be missing?

    Can you help us?

  • Delete the device from the peer list and/or subordinate list, in both devices. In each device, go to device groups, select the current device and make sure all the device connectivity is setup (config sync, network failover, mirroring). Try add again the the peer device in the peer list. After check in each device, the device list, and check if both devices have now all information.
